Catie McQ is a the first diploma graduate of the Oraculos School of Astrology, a 3 year conservatory program in which she was taught natal, mundane, horary, Electional, Uranian and Cosmobiology and the Quabbalistic Tarot. Catie continued her studies with Meira Epstein, Georgia Stathis, J.M. Hamade and Daniel Larkin, Kelly Surtees, Nina Gryphon, Austin Coppock and Gray Crawford. Catie also completed Bernadette Brady Star School and Kirah Sutherland Medical astrology classes.
Catie loves public speaking, performing, creating content, writing and enjoy living close to the beach as she has a special relationship with the ocean.
She believes that astrology should only be used to help enhance life. This does not mean that she bypasses over the realities of the world. Catie had her own dark night of the soul regarding her astrological practice and its use especially in this world of social media and the need to always box ourselves in and create brands. Oftentimes monetizing our passions and loves and trying to make them into self sustaining businesses is a difficult and unique hurtle.
Having a Jupiter on the World Axis makes it so that I can help but want to breath life into the elegant and beautiful language that is Astrology.
